The Department of BBA in collaboration with Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strat up cell of College organized Two-Day Workshop on “Awareness on and Opportunities for Entrepreneurship on 27th and 28th March,2024. The workshop aimed to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students and provide them with insights into the world of business innovation and start-ups.
The event witnessed active participation from students who enthusiastically showcased their innovative business ideas The Students presented their business ideas and cash prizes were distributed for best ideas by Rev. Fr. Dr. Parbhudas SJ ,Vice Principal III UG and PG also other participants were given certificates.

And also explained procedure for taking legal advice, conducting research, and representing clients in legal disputes concerning Intellectual property Issues. He gave guidance to the students regarding protection of their innovative creations and ensure that their intellectual property rights are upheld and work to secure patents for inventions, register trademarks, enforce copyrights protections and offer guidance on navigating complex legal framework.

Andhra Loyola College recently played host to an enriching two-day workshop organized by Go Training. The workshop's primary focus was on enhancing soft skills and equipping participants with the essential knowledge and strategies for excelling in interviews. The students of NBA have learned about the following things

• Body language skills
• Effective presentations
• Interview strategies
• Resume building
In conclusion, this workshop provided not only knowledge but also a platform for practical application and skill development. Attendees left the workshop with increased confidence, armed with essential soft skills and interview strategies. The Andhra Loyola College community extends its gratitude to Go Training for their expert guidance and engaging sessions, which have undoubtedly empowered our students and faculty members, enabling them to succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.

National Conference on "EMERGING TRENDS IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT"
The Department of BBA in collaboration with DEPT OF MBA organized a TWO- DAY NATIONAL CONFERENCE on “EMERGING TRENDS IN BUSINESS Management On 23rd and 24th of February,2023. Sri.A.R.K. Chowdary, Director Finance, Kusalava International Limited is the Chief Guest for the Inaugural on 23-02-2023.Dr. Rajesh Jampala, Professor, P.B. Siddardha College ,Vijayawada delivered the keynote address. About 250 Delegates including Faculty Members and Research Scholars as well as Students from different Colleges and Universities across the country along with the Faculty Members and Students of the BBA and MBA Departments of the host College attended the event.
The participants presented 30 Research Papers in the Seminar. Rev.Fr. Principal / Fr.Vice Principal welcomed the participants while Rev.Fr.Rector/Fr.Correspond entextended Greetings. SR.P.RAJU, Assistant General Manager, BSNL is the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Session held on 24-02-2023.All the Participants were presented with the Certificates of Participation. Dr.A.MADHURI, MRS.UMA Dept.of MBA and BBA acted as the Organizing Secretaries.

The Department of BBA in organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “CAREER OPPORTUNITES IN BOB (Bank of Baroda)” on 13th October, 2022 .Mr.T.Jagadish introduced the Resource Person. Mr.Mohan babu ,Regional Manager , Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and delivered lecture to enlighten the students regarding how to become bank employee and serve the society. 61 Students and 2 faculty members of the department attended the Guest Lecture.

The resource person for this webinar RAJESH B MYNENI (Managing Director of AVONOVA) talk about the HOME AUTOMATION and what are the deferent opportunities in entrepreneurship in this competitive environment, also mention that what are the issues related to technical qualification that students and faculty are required in this pandemic situations. He mentioned that if you are technically qualified, you can bring new changes in entrepreneurship. A seminar for students was conducted on 2nd December,2016 in order to guide them towards a bright future. The seminar was presented by M.R.K.Murthy garu CEO of Career Campus. The seminar involved motivation and inspiration. MRK Murthy garu stressed over attitude, knowledge and communication skills and also stated that those are very important for the students to get placements. A wider explanation of CAT and MAT was also given which would help the BBA students in getting good jobs.

GUEST LECTURE:
The department conducted a guest lecture on 22nd August 2015 by Dr. M.C. Das , management consultant and HRD trainer in MCD associates gave the lecture about "Dynamics of achievement " and discussed about the concerned topics like Role of a student , achievement of goals , and tools of achievement.
Extension Activity:
ABBA students went to " Nirmal Hrudhay Bhavan" , Bandar road on 10th, December 2015 & donated some of the necessary provisions for them.

On 4th August 2014 a seminar was conducted for the students of BBA on the topic "Changing Business Models & Sri. Rajesh Jampala ( Hod P.B .Siddhartha ) attended for that seminar as a guest.

Students of I BBA (35) and II BBA (28) went on a Field Visit to Coco Cola company, Atmakur, on 3rd and 4th September 2012 respectively.
60 students of BBA along with 3 faculty members went on a Field Visit to KCP Sugar and Industrial Corporation, Vuyyuru, on 1st December 2012.
Visit to Nirmal Hruday Bhavan (Home for dying destitute): 10 students of I BBA and 10 students of II BBA along with faculty members visited Nirmal Hruday Bhavan (Home for dying destitute) on 15th August 2012 and donated provisions to the inmates.
The Department of Business Administration conducted an inter-departmental Quiz Competition on 22nd September 2012. Dr.N.A.Francis Xavier, Dean of Student Activities, was the Quiz Master. Six of the ten teams from various Departments that took part in the Quiz qualified for the finals. The team of the Department of Life Sciences were the winners, while the team of Department of Commerce were runners-up and of the English Department stood third. Ms.Madhavi, H.O.D. Busi. Admn. distributed the prizes to the winners.
Workshop
The Department of B.B.A. conducted a Workshop on “Developing a Winning Personality with Soft Skills” on 15th December 2012. Dr.Ramanujam Parthasarathy, Director of ELT, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada and S. Koteswara Rao, Senior Finance Officer, ITC, were the resource persons.
